A warm welcome from Carl Boyd!

Welcome to my site. Over the coming weeks and months I plan to regularly add articles and designs along with knitting tips, hints and ideas for all machine knitters, sewers and anyone interested in craft work. Every so often I will put some of my old designs on the web which you will be able to download whenever  you like.  If anyone has any ideas or tips they would like to share I would love to hear from you.  Ideally I would like the site to become like a world wide knitting club where friends can be made and ideas exchanged. Look forward to hearing from you.

Have just returned from  Machine Knitting Live at Bournemouth, what a wonderful show.  It was very well attended and we knitters had a fantastic day. Once again Anne Smith asked me to do the morning talk which was attended by about 300 knitters who gave me such a warm welcome for which I would like to say a sincere thank you. Anne works so hard organizing this show and really deserves a round of applause, it was such a success. The next show is at Chepstow on Sunday 6th June and I’m really looking forward to it.
